INFORMATION ABOUT THE PERSONAL DATA CONTROLLER

Within the scope of the Borr e-commerce platform, your personal data is processed by Saf Halıcılık Sanayi ve Ticaret Ltd. Şti. (“Company” or “Our Company”) as the data controller, in accordance with this Clarification Text and the Law on the Protection of Personal Data No. 6698 (“Law”).

Purposes of Processing Your Personal Data

Your personal data is processed by our Company for the following purposes:

  1. Managing shopping processes via the e-commerce platform, conducting communication related to your orders, and organizing payment transactions and logistics services,

  2. Personalizing your website experience, customizing products and services for you, promoting campaigns and promotions,

  3. Managing your requests and complaints, organizing online support processes,

  4. Fulfilling our legal obligations and ensuring the legal, technical, and commercial security of our e-commerce activities.

Parties to Whom Your Personal Data May Be Transferred and Purposes of Transfer

Your personal data may be transferred by our Company to the following parties located within or outside the country for the purposes stated above:

  1. Our service providers (cargo, payment systems, technical support, etc.),

  2. Our business partners and suppliers,

  3. Legally authorized public institutions and organizations,

  4. Social media platforms and digital advertising service providers.

These transfers are carried out in accordance with the conditions set forth in Articles 8 and 9 of the Law.

Method and Legal Basis for Collecting Your Personal Data

Your personal data is collected and stored by our Company through the following methods:

  1. Accounts you create and purchases you make on the e-commerce platform,

  2. Data collected via website cookies,

  3. Conversations during the sales process and with customer service.

This data is processed for reasons such as fulfilling legal obligations, performing contracts, and improving company operations.

Rights of the Personal Data Owner

As personal data owners, you have the following rights under Article 11 of the Law:

  1. To learn whether your personal data is being processed,

  2. If it has been processed, to request information about it,

  3. To learn the purpose of processing and whether it is used in accordance with that purpose,

  4. To request correction of incomplete or incorrect data,

  5. To request deletion or destruction of your personal data,

  6. To know the third parties to whom your personal data has been transferred,

  7. To object to a result against you arising from the analysis of your data through automated systems,

  8. To request compensation for damages caused by unlawful processing of your personal data.

You can submit your requests regarding your rights to our Company via [email protected]. Your requests will be responded to as soon as possible and no later than 30 days depending on their nature, free of charge. However, if the process requires an additional cost, a fee may be charged in accordance with the tariff set by the Personal Data Protection Board.
